Yoon-Hee (Kim Nam-Joo) is usually a TV drama director. She recently married the most perfect man for her. Yoon-Hee has been afraid of having in-laws, specifically a mother-in-law. Because on this, Yoon-Hee looked for a man who isn't closely linked with his family. If she couldn't find this type of guy, Yoon-Hee planned on staying single. Finally, Yoon-Hee found Terry (Yu Jun-Sang). Terry may be a doctor with a sugary personality, but, most essentially, he has adopted mom and dad from America. Terry has no recollections connected with his real parents and was adopted by the Korean couple in America as a kid. Yoon-Hee's marriage life seems spots.

Meanwhile, Chung-Ae (Yoon Yeo-Jung) has lived with heavy guilt ever seeing that she lost her son Gwi-Nam at the traditional market 30 rice. Because of that terrible incident, Chung-Ae has encountered abuse from her mother-in-law. nevertheless, Chung-Ae still hasn't presented up hope on finding her son sometime.
