"Dummy Mommy" is a story about a tale of love, conflict and reconciliation between three women of different generations.

Kim Young Joo (Kim Hyun Joo), the genius with an IQ of 200 along with the youngest editor of a leading fashion magazine, is continually embarrassed by her dim-witted mummy, who has an IQ with 56. Ashamed of her mother's intellectual disability and suffocated by her closeness, Young Joo runs away to get married and leaves the woman's mother behind. Young Joo, sequentially, gives birth to her own daughter and finds herself inside a different position.
