Yoon-Hee (Kim Nam-Joo) can be a TV drama director. She recently married a wonderful man for her. Yoon-Hee may be afraid of having in-laws, particularly a mother-in-law. Because on this, Yoon-Hee looked for a working man who isn't closely connected to his family. If she couldn't find a real guy, Yoon-Hee planned with staying single. Finally, Yoon-Hee found Terry (Yu Jun-Sang). Terry is usually a doctor with a sugary personality, but, most important, he has adopted mother and father from America. Terry has no recollections involving his real parents and was adopted because of the Korean couple in America as a young child. Yoon-Hee's marriage life seems ready.

Meanwhile, Chung-Ae (Yoon Yeo-Jung) has lived with heavy guilt ever given that she lost her son Gwi-Nam in the traditional market 30 rice. Because of that traumatic incident, Chung-Ae has experienced abuse from her mother-in-law. on the other hand, Chung-Ae still hasn't assigned up hope on finding her son sometime.

Then one day, Yoon-Hee gets a call from her landlord. Her landlord requests an additional 100 million won to extend her lease. Yoon-Hee stays in her mom's house along with asks her mother with the money that she plus her husband deposited, but Yoon-Hee's mother invested all of their money in the woman's son's business. Yoon-Hee can't extend your ex lease and must now re-locate. Yoon-Hee and Terry get a new place and they are introduced to a house situated on the second floor of the building.
